Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our busy client in Crawley, operating within the Warehousing and Logistics industry.

Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:00

£14.67 an hour

Key Responsibilities of the

Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently within the warehouse
Loading and unloading deliveries from vehicles
Moving and transporting stock, pallets and materials to the correct warehouse locations
Loading and preparing goods for dispatch
Assisting with the movement and organisation of stock throughout the warehouse
Ensuring goods are handled carefully to prevent damage
Carrying out routine forklift safety checks before operating the vehicle
Reporting any damage, faults or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor
Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse environment
Following all Health and Safety procedures and site regulations at all times

Requirements of the

A valid and in-date counterbalance forklift licence or recognised training certificate
Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred
Good awareness of Health and Safety procedures when operating forklift trucks
Ability to load, unload and move goods safely and accurately
Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
Good attention to detail when handling and positioning stock
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a busy warehouse environment
Willingness to assist with general warehouse duties when required
