About this role

The School of Psychology teaches a BPS-accredited MSc in Forensic Psychology. If successful in applying for this role you will join the forensic team to help deliver some of the programme’s core modules. You will also be a member of the wider School of Psychology community, with over 40 members of academic staff.

The programme has excellent links with local NHS, criminal justice, private and third sector services, who provide direct input to the programme.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person with forensic psychology expertise and teaching experience. We expect applicants to hold an MSc or equivalent in psychology, with eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) based on the British Psychological Society criteria. Holding a PhD, and professional forensic psychology accreditation, are highly desirable.

The post is fixed term from appointment until the end of September 2027, and is at 0.6 FTE (working patterns to be discussed, but some specific days each week will largely be determined by module timetables).
