Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Service Advisor in Milford, Surrey. Service Advisor

• Up to £32,000 basic salary, dependent on experience

Duties of the Service Advisor

• Greet customers professionally and respond to their inquiries with courtesy
• Schedule service appointments and provide clear communication on vehicle needs
• Act as liaison between customers and the service department to facilitate smooth operations
• Offer accurate information regarding services, costs, and timelines
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional services aligned with manufacturer recommendations
• Handle customer concerns and complaints empathetically, providing solutions where possible
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and service transactions
• Ensure excellent customer service throughout the customer journey

Requirements of the Service Advisor

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage several tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to learn new processes and develop skills further
• Prior experience in a customer service role or automotive background is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
