About this role
Worcester has a walker in Stourport nearby already. What we still want is sitters, and this advert asks for three self-employed ones: one for the city, one for St John's and the west bank, and one for the villages towards the Malverns. Sitting means minding a dog at the owner's home while they are away, which is quite different from walking.
A booking could be a lunchtime visit, an overnight stay or a week of holiday cover. You follow the owner's routine, feed the dog, give any medication, let it out, take it for a walk, keep it company and message the owner each day so they know how things are.
Expect to be paid per booking, at your own price per visit and per night, and not by us. We pay no wage, WoofWalk being an app owners use and not an employer, and we cannot promise any bookings. The app takes the owner's payment and passes it on to your bank. You answer for tax, National Insurance and insurance of your own. We have no Worcester sitting price to give.
Licences
boarding dogs at your own address is home boarding, which needs one from the council first and has its own listing in the app. Looking after a dog at the owner's home does not.
The deal on commission is that joining is free and the first 14 days are too. After that WoofWalk takes 15% of each booking, or 10% for life once five of your own clients have joined through you. Clients you bring yourself pay 10% from the day they sign up.
Over 18. Apply on Find a Job and say which parts of Worcester you can reach and whether overnights are possible.
