Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Are you practical, reliable, and looking to oversee a small team in time

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to develop new skills within a production and manufacturing environment. Previous experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Duties of the production operative include

• Operating and setting up production machinery

• Ensuring machinery runs efficiently throughout the day

• Carrying out quality checks to maintain high standards

• Following planned maintenance schedules

• Packing finished products ready for dispatch

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

• Following instructions accurately to complete production tasks

• Taking ownership of responsibilities and supporting team objectives

• Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and company policies

The production operative must have

• Previous manufacturing or production experience

• Strong team player with good communication skills

• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance

• Good attention to detail and accuracy

• Practical problem-solving abilities

• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision

• Comfortable carrying out manual handling and physical tasks
