Temporary until at least the end of December, with the potential for extension

We are currently recruiting for a professional and customer-focused

Receptionist to join a well-established organisation based in

St Andrews. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being the face of a business and delivering a first-class experience to visitors, clients, and colleagues.

Working within a professional office environment, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and incoming enquiries, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and efficient service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming visitors and guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Managing visitor sign-ins and ensuring a positive first impression
• Handling inbound telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately
• Taking and relaying accurate messages
• Managing calendars, appointments, and meeting room bookings
• Coordinating visitor and meeting arrangements
• Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties
• Maintaining a tidy and professional reception area

About You

• Previous reception, front-of-house, administration, or customer service experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, approachable, and welcoming manner
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
• Confident using Microsoft Office and managing calendars
• Reliable and able to work independently
