About this role

We require a Personal Assistant/Carer for a 35 year old man who sustained a brain injury at the age of 2 which has left him with learning difficulties and epilepsy but he is fully physically able and enjoys swimming, gym, football and snooker as well as Playstation games and watching DVD's, shopping and going for a coffee.

Duties would be to deal with seizure activity, help with his social skill difficulties when out, help him with IT and Playstation knowledge, help him find new social activities/outlets to ad to his present ones.

We are happy for you to include him in some of your own family/social activities should you want to.

This is not just a standard carer's role and if you have enthusiasm, inventiveness, a good sense of humour and a caring patient nature you should get a great deal of job satisfaction making a difference to this man's life.
