The Opportunity

This close-knit practice put the wellbeing of their staff right alongside their pets! With no weekends or out-of-hours, this role promises an exciting, varied workload while having proper time away from work.

With a focus on wellbeing, this purpose-built clinic is equipped with the latest technology and equipment to ensure the highest standard of care for pets.

You can expect a mix of consultations, imaging, lab work, dental, and surgery in your days at work, as well as specialised classes for pet socialisation. This is a great opportunity to work in a practice that really strive to make a difference.

You will be a key part of the practice, responsible for

• Providing high standards of inpatient and outpatient nursing care.
• Monitoring anaesthesia and assisting with surgical procedures.
• Performing nurse consultations and supporting preventative healthcare.
• Administering medications and carrying out treatments as directed.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring excellent patient welfare.
• Educating and supporting clients with their pets’ ongoing health and wellbeing.
• Helping maintain a clean, safe and organised clinical environment.
• Contributing ideas, supporting colleagues and helping the practice continue to grow.

Rota

• 40 hours per week with 1 hour paid lunch
• No OOH or weekends

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
• A caring, compassionate approach to patients and their owners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
• Good organisational skills and the confidence to work independently when required.
• A genuine interest in developing your clinical skills and contributing to the practice.
