IT Consultant

Jags Consultancy Limited is seeking an IT Consultant with a strong understanding of business analysis, technical solution design, and client engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements, identify technology opportunities, and recommend effective IT solutions. The role will also involve supporting presales activities, solution proposals, technical assessments, and project planning, with a focus on modern Data Analytics, Cloud Computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), AI/ML, and Generative AI technologies to deliver innovative and value-driven business solutions.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Engage with business, operations, IT teams, and clients to gather requirements, identify

business opportunities, and recommend suitable technical solutions.

• Support pre-sales activities, including client discussions, solution proposals, technical

presentations, effort estimation, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Perform business analysis, gap analysis, impact assessments, data analysis, and data

mapping to support business transformation initiatives.

• Collaborate with application leads, architects, and development teams to define

functional and technical designs, system integrations, and solution requirements.

• Leverage knowledge of modern Data Analytics, Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP),

AI/ML, Generative AI, and LLM-based solutions to identify opportunities for

innovation and process optimisation.

• Document business requirements, technical specifications, APIs, data flows, quality

attributes, security, performance, and other non-functional requirements.

• Support requirements prioritisation, solution validation, testing, and stakeholder

communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Work with sales and delivery teams to identify additional opportunities, develop solution

approaches, and align technology offerings with client needs.
