Multi Skilled Mobile Engineer - Electrical Bias

40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (some flexibility required)

We're looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Mobile Engineer - Electrical Bias to work with a key Mitie client, providing a multi-skilled maintenance service covering electrical and mechanical disciplines, delivering reactive and proactive maintenance in line with site requirements.

Role Responsibilities

-Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service covering both electrical and mechanical disciplines, delivering reactive and proactive maintenance in line with site requirements.

-Undertake work within your main qualification and skillset, ensuring tasks are completed safely and within agreed timescales.

-Carry out modifications and installations when required, and maintain, repair and calibrate electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant to optimise reliability and maintainability.

-Ensure all key performance indicators are met and liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required.

-Complete all required paperwork and produce reports accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard in line with company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

-18th Edition and NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline) or equivalent, with appropriate up-to-date training.

-Good knowledge of Building Statutory Compliance and responsibility for maintaining a safe working environment in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

-Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

-Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

-Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

-Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
