Bank Highly Specialist Podiatrist

The post holder is responsible for: To provide expert clinical practice in the assessment and diagnosis of highly complex podiatric problems and deliver individualised treatment for clients with specialised care needs to maintain their mobility, independence and prevent disability. To be an active member of the Multidisciplinary Diabetic Footcare Team (MDFT) supporting the Lead for High-Risk Podiatry care to ensure continuity of service delivery in both an inpatient and outpatient settings. To support the development, implementation and review of patient & clinical pathways, SOPs and clinical guidance for the outpatient podiatric service. To support the Lead for High-Risk podiatry care in ongoing development of podiatry staff through clinical rotations, mentoring and supervision. Support training of podiatrists and other health care practitioners on management of highly complex podiatric patients.
