Senior Applied Psychologist

Provide highly specialist psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions for children, young people and families with complex mental health needs. Undertake risk assessment and risk management, including safeguarding responsibilities. Deliver individual, family and group interventions, adapting approaches to meet young people's needs. Provide expert psychological consultation and advice to multidisciplinary colleagues and partner agencies. Work collaboratively with health, education, social care and voluntary sector services to support integrated care. Supervise and support trainee, assistant and qualified psychologists. Deliver training and contribute to the development of the wider multidisciplinary workforce. Lead and contribute to service development, quality improvement, audit and research activities. Use psychological expertise to inform service redesign, innovation and organisational change. Promote compassionate, inclusive and recovery-focused care for children, young people and their families.
