Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology

Key Responsibilities

Completing comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to understand patients cognitive, emotional and behavioural needs. Supporting the multidisciplinary team (MDT) with clinical formulation, diagnosis and rehabilitation planning. Delivering evidence-based psychological interventions, including cognitive and mood-based therapies. Designing and implementing individual behaviour modification programmes using a Positive Behaviour Support approach. Coordinating therapeutic programmes and supporting patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Providing psychological support and education to patients, families and carers about acquired brain injury. Contributing to MDT meetings, patient reviews, discharge planning and service development. Managing and prioritising your clinical caseload in consultation with the wider Psychology Team. Maintaining accurate clinical records and producing timely clinical reports. Contributing to education and training for the MDT. Maintaining professional standards through ongoing CPD, clinical supervision and compliance with relevant BPS and HCPC guidance.
