Accounts Assistant

CMA is supporting a distribution business in Havant, Hampshire with the appointment of an Accounts Assistant. This temporary opportunity has arisen as the finance function expands and offers the chance to play an important role in maintaining accurate, efficient day-to-day processes within a busy commercial environment.

What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?

• Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
• Supporting the entry and processing of sales invoices
• Maintaining dependable finance records
• Working with colleagues to ensure finance tasks are completed promptly
• Providing wider support to the finance team where required

• Previous experience in an accounts function
• Strong attention to detail when handling financial information
• A methodical and organised approach to transactional work
• Confidence using finance systems and standard office software
• A reliable and adaptable approach, with the ability to contribute within a busy distribution setting
