About this role

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are detailed below: BP Monitoring . Urinalysis. Phlebotomy. Weight Monitoring. Chaperone when required. Monthly checks on clinical room bags as per the tick list. Maintaining equipment used by the Nursing team. Ensure sharp's bins are ready for collection. Ensure specimens are correctly labelled and bagged ready for collection. Administration duties, audits, patient recalls, BP averaging. The Phlebotomist will be instructed and supported by the lead Nurse on clinical matters and training.
