At Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, we believe memorable events are created through flawless execution, exceptional service and meticulous attention to detail.

From luxury weddings and exclusive private celebrations to high-profile corporate events and prestigious receptions, our Events team brings every occasion to life with professionalism, passion and precision.

We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic

Events Operations Supervisor to join our Meetings & Events team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading teams and takes pride in delivering unforgettable guest experiences.

Working closely with the Assistant Events Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of events across our impressive ballroom and meeting spaces, ensuring every detail exceeds expectations from start to finish.

The Role

As Events Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading event service teams and coordinating the successful delivery of a wide range of meetings, conferences, private dining experiences and special events.

You will act as a visible leader on the floor, ensuring event spaces are prepared to the highest standards, teams are fully briefed and guests receive seamless, personalised service throughout their event journey.

No two days are the same. One day you may be overseeing an executive board meeting, the next supporting a luxury wedding or high-profile gala dinner. Your ability to anticipate needs, solve problems and inspire your team will be central to your success.

What You'll Be Doing

-

Leading and motivating event service teams to deliver exceptional service standards.

-

Coordinating event set-up, execution and breakdown to ensure every event space is delivered exactly as planned.

-

Building strong relationships with clients, event organisers and guests to create memorable experiences.

-

Overseeing all aspects of event operations, ensuring details are executed accurately and efficiently.

-

Working closely with kitchen, sales and operational teams to ensure seamless event delivery.

-

Managing last-minute changes with professionalism while maintaining exceptional service standards.

-

Supporting the training, coaching and development of colleagues to build a high-performing team.

-

Conducting briefings and maintaining excellent communication across departments.

-

Monitoring service quality, presentation standards and guest satisfaction throughout each event.

-

Ensuring all operational, health and safety and compliance standards are consistently achieved.

-

Acting as a proud ambassador of Nobu's values of Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a confident and engaging hospitality professional with a passion for events and guest service.

You'll have experience within meetings and events, banqueting or food and beverage operations and be comfortable leading teams in a busy luxury environment.

You'll possess excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You'll enjoy working collaboratively, building relationships and taking ownership of delivering exceptional experiences for every guest.

Most importantly, you'll bring enthusiasm, professionalism and a genuine desire to create memorable moments that leave a lasting impression.
