Rapier Employment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a leading logistics operation in Bradford.

These are long-term ongoing opportunities offering regular work, excellent rates of pay, overtime opportunities, and flexible shift patterns.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering goods to RDCs and retail stores across the region. Some store deliveries will involve moving cages and the use of tail-lift equipment, so a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.

Duties Include

• Deliveries to RDCs and retail stores
• Unloading cages using a tail lift where required
• Completing vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Maintaining compliance with driver's hours and road transport legislation
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations

Please note

Drivers must be available to work at least one weekend day.

Day Shifts

Start Times

04:00 - 09:00

• £18.57 per hour PAYE
• £20.81 per hour including optional rolled-up holiday pay

Overtime after 8 hours

£27.85 per hour PAYE

• £31.21 per hour including optional rolled-up holiday pay

Night Shifts

Start Times

15:00 - 21:00

• £20.01 per hour PAYE
• £22.42 per hour including optional rolled-up holiday pay

Overtime after 8 hours

£30.01 per hour PAYE

• £33.63 per hour including optional rolled-up holiday pay

What We're Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 12 months
• Minimum 3 months commercial Class 1 driving experience (insurance requirement)
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Positive, professional attitude
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DR10, CD10 or IN10 endorsements
