The Role

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our client's team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a varied role involving stock control, inventory management, materials handling and general warehouse duties.

The successful candidate will be organised, have good attention to detail and be comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

-

Carrying out stock control and inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate.

-

Receiving, checking and storing incoming deliveries.

-

Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.

-

Moving materials and stock safely around the warehouse.

-

Loading and unloading deliveries as required.

-

Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.

-

Reporting stock discrepancies, damaged goods and any issues to management.

Following all health and safety procedures.

Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate

-

Previous experience in stock control, inventory management or warehouse operations.

Experience using MHE, with relevant licences where required.

-

Good attention to detail and organisational skills.

-

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-

A reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.

-

Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
