Production Operative to join our client based in Kingsbury, Tamworth. This

Production Operative role is within the

manufacturing industry, supporting the production and loading of specialist products.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced

Production Operative with a valid forklift licence to join a well-established business within the

manufacturing industry, offering full-time weekday hours and an ongoing temporary assignment.

Job Role - Production Operative (Manufacturing Industry)

As a

Production Operative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the stock yard, ensuring products are sorted, packed, loaded, and stored safely while maintaining the highest standards of quality and health & safety. The

Production Operative will also operate forklift trucks and support general yard operations within the

manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently
• Placing products into designated stockyard locations
• Sorting substandard products and recording defects accurately
• Repairing damaged or substandard packaging where required
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Packing specialist product orders accurately
• Carrying out stockyard and factory cleaning duties
• Following health & safety procedures and standard operating instructions
• Participating in training to develop skills and support the wider team

Requirements

Essential

• Current valid

RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS or CPCS Forklift Truck Licence

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Ability to work towards production targets
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Reliable with a positive attitude
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible approach with willingness to work overtime when required
