Qualified Supply Teacher (QTS) - Flexible Day-to-Day Cover (Southampton)

Are you a qualified teacher looking for a better work-life balance without the burden of planning, marking, or parents' evenings? We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable General Cover Teachers to support local schools in

Southampton on a day-to-day supply basis. This is your chance to focus purely on teaching and classroom management while enjoying complete control over your working schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects and year groups.
• Maintain a structured, positive, and safe learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Leave detailed handover notes for the regular class teacher.
• Ensure pupils remain on task and complete set work.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
• Strong behaviour management skills with the ability to establish authority quickly.
• High degree of adaptability, enthusiasm, and excellent communication abilities.
• Valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
