Job Purpose
The Member Capability Officer
has responsibility for activities and actions relating to
- Induction programme which takes a new member to being an effective Chair,
- Progressing members to attain accreditation, assessments and maintenance
- Assess, implement and support capability needs for members
- Delivery of member L&D and engagement events and forums
- Digitisation of learning
Scope & Responsibilities
Each EO will be assigned areas of responsibility but should know and understand (through meetings and team engagement) the other areas to build resilience.
Support the organisation and delivery of core
L&D and accreditation programmes for
- New Member Induction
- MCA training
- Chair training
Continued support and delivery of scheduled Member L&D and engagement events
- Chair and MCA Networking
- L&P Q&A
- Open Forums
- Parole Board Conference
Delivery of Accreditation for Chair training prior to 2026
Build relationships to support member progression.
Primary deliverables in the first 6 months of the role
- Delivery of the new MCA and Chair training programmes
- Progression of all members undertaking induction programme courses to accreditation
- Delivery of Conference.
