About this role

An opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated team of sonographers to provide 12 months maternity leave cover, delivering excellent patient care in the ultrasound department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and community bases.

An essential requirement for this post is that the successful candidate must be competent and hold certified training in vascular ultrasound, with additional ultrasound skill mixes considered a benefit. The imaging department delivers ultrasound services in the clinical areas of abdominal, gynaecology, obstetrics, vascular, MSK, head and neck, small parts and interventional.

The successful applicant will hold a CASE accredited Post Graduate Ultrasound qualification, and ideally be HCPC registered, although registration with the SOR public voluntary register of sonographers will be accepted.

There will be a requirement to work at several locations within Chesterfield and the surrounding area, including Matlock and Buxton, so personal transport is a consideration.

Additional requirements of this role will be to work weekends on a rota'd basis.

Whole time and part time posts will be considered. Flexible working arrangements will also be considered (in line with clinical service need).
