Stores Operative

What's involved with this role

Triumph Consultants are looking for a reliable Stores Operative to support the daily running of their client's Stores and the Waste Transfer Station, ensuring materials are received, stored and delivered safely and efficiently. Contract is for 5 months in Gateshead NE8 3EN.

Pay Rate

£13.26 per hour PAYE

Hours per week

37.5 Monday - Friday

Key requirements

Previous Stores, Waste or Warehouse experience.

Ability to use IT systems to record stock and material transactions.

Ability to work safely and follow health and safety procedures.

Forklift and telehandler experience is desirable.

Key responsibilities

Receive, check and issue materials to staff and work sites.

Prepare material kits and deliver materials and PPE across Gateshead.

Maintain stock levels and update records accurately.

Operate forklifts and telehandlers to move materials and waste safely.

Keep Stores and the Waste Transfer Station clean, tidy and safe.
