we are looking for a Transport Administrator to join the transport team in Bootle. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced transport and logistics professionals who are passionate about accuracy, compliance, and supporting a busy operational team.

Working closely with transport managers, drivers, and operational colleagues, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the transport operation.

What You'll Be Doing As a Transport Administrator, your responsibilities will include

Supporting transport managers with accurate and timely driver briefings and debriefings to DHL standards
Preparing, checking, and reconciling delivery paperwork and Proof of Delivery (POD) documents
Monitoring vehicle routes and driver schedules through Microlise, escalating issues where necessary
Providing administrative and operational support to the wider transport team
Maintaining accurate transport records and documentation
Producing Tachomaster administration and compliance reports
Ensuring compliance with transport legislation, company procedures, and Health & Safety requirements
Identifying and reporting operational concerns or compliance issues promptly

What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you'll have

✅ Previous experience within a transport, logistics, or distribution environment (essential)

✅ Strong attention to detail and excellent accuracy levels

✅ Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

✅ Experience using transport systems would be an advantage

Transport compliance requirements

✅ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

✅ The ability to prioritise workloads and remain calm under pressure
