Healthcare Assistant - Gynaecology

Under the supervision and guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will prepare patients and equipment for procedures, assist clinicians and act as a chaperone during intimate examinations. Following appropriate training, you will undertake observations, venepuncture, cannulation, ECGs and other delegated clinical tasks, reporting any concerns promptly. You will provide compassionate support to patients experiencing early pregnancy complications and other sensitive gynaecological conditions. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate patient records, safely handling specimens and keeping clinical areas clean, organised and appropriately stocked.
