Progress Tutor (Sickness Cover)

The role

• Provide one-to-one and group support to help learners stay engaged and make progress.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality and achievement, addressing concerns early.
• Work with learners to set meaningful targets and review their development.
• Deliver tutorials covering personal development, wellbeing and progression.
• Liaise with teaching staff and support teams to ensure learners receive the right support.
• Maintain accurate records and raise safeguarding concerns through the appropriate channels.

What we're looking for

• Experience supporting young people in an education, mentoring or pastoral setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with learners.
• A proactive, empathetic approach to supporting students with different needs.
• Good organisational skills and confidence managing a caseload.
• An understanding of safeguarding and promoting learner welfare.
