CLASS 2 NIGHT DRIVER - NURSLING

The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit Class 2 HGV Drivers for an established food distribution client based in Nursling. This is an ongoing role with the potential to go full time with a contract

Salary - £18.50 / £20.50 per hour

Location - Nursling, Southampton

Start time - Early AM

Details of the role

• Working on a temp to perm contract, Subject to passing trail period you will become a permanent member of staff
• The shifts are early

AM start between 01

00am-02:00am, average working shift is 8-10 hrs

• This role is working on a 28-week rolling rota, working 4 days on and 2 days off
• Paying between £18.50-£20.50 per hour with an 8 hour minimum shift
• Overtime paid on weekends and bank holidays
• You will be delivering Bread to a variety of customers around the SO area
• All products are stacked in cages and offloaded via tail lift into the supermarket delivery area
• New passes welcome, with 3-6 months class 2 commercial driving experience
• Drivers must have good communication skills and be willing be to be flexible with finish times
• Vehicle checks before and after each shift

Requirements/Benefits

• Full Cat C Licence
• Valid CPC & Digi Card
• Class 2 experience driving rigid vehicles
