Service Technician

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, Automotive Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealership in Leeds. Applicants must have previous vehicle servicing and repair experience, hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent and possess a Full UK Driving Licence. Experience in a main dealership or independent garage is accepted.

Up to £52,480 – Uncapped

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm (40 Hours), Plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am–12:30pm

Vehicle Technician Role

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Complete pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Carry out vehicle health checks and identify additional repairs
• Complete warranty repairs and associated documentation
• Fit vehicle accessories and carry out authorised repairs
• Complete road tests and maintain accurate workshop records

Vehicle Technician Requirements

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, Automotive Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician
• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Experience working within a main dealership or independent garage
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Confident carrying out servicing, inspections and repairs
• Ability to work efficiently to high quality standards
• Full UK Driving Licence
