Manual labouring

Ongoing work available with an immediate start in Leicestershire.

We are looking for reliable, hard-working staff who work well as part of a team and want to secure a permanent job. This is a very “labour intensive” job where you will be working in all the elements as you move between the stations and the yard throughout your shift. Primarily working with the manufacturing of frames and panels, there is an opportunity to progress as the role evolves and you become more experienced.

What will you do

• Working closely with production and manufacturing teams

• Operating machinery and power tools

• Supporting day-to-day production-line activities

• Completing quality-control checks

About you

• Reliable

• Team player

• Excellent communication skills

• Be able to follow health and safety procedures

• Willingness to learn

• Happy to work in cold and outdoor environment

Experience

• Previous production or manufacturing experience would be an advantage

• Experience of using power tools would be a benefit

• Operating cranes would be a huge advantage

• Use of an FLT in a production environment would be beneficial

Full-time hours, Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00 with overtime available throughout the week.

You will be paid £13.25 per hour for this role. Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week, £19.87 per hour. Following a probationary period there is an opportunity for this rate to increase, this is a discretionary performance related benefit.

Holiday is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.
