HGV Class 1 Driver Wanted in Sheffield - Immediate Starts - Great Rates of Pay

Our client is the UK and Ireland's leading independent paper and board supplier, comprised of four divisions stocking and supplying paper, board and office products across the UK and Ireland from eleven state-of-the-art distributions depots using their own fleet of vehicles, and are now looking to add additional HGV Class 1 Drivers to their team

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for trunking to RDC’s and NDC’s nationwide working to planned routes and schedules, you'll play a key role in ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

All drivers will be expected to carry out daily vehicle safety inspections, adhere to all transport and health and safety regulations, complete delivery documentation accurately, and maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with customers.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have

• A valid HGV Class 2 (C) driving licence
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A Digital Tachograph Card in date
• No more than 6 points on your licence

New passes welcome however some exposure to the transport industry would be preferred.

This is an on-going temporary assignment

Working hours are typically Monday to Friday with start times being around 1800 each evening. Weekend work also available

Pay for this role is £17.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE with 28 days holiday per year.

Saturdays are paid at £19.00 per hour and Sundays paid at £20.00 per hour
