Paediatric Consultant with a Specialist Interest in Palliative Care

This post is based at Staffordshire Childrens Hospital at Royal Stoke which is part of the University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM) NHS Trust. The paediatric department at UHNM primarily delivers acute paediatric care to the local children of Staffordshire and beyond. Provide specialist care in palliative care both at UHNM and the Dougie Mac Children's Hospice. Participate in the palliative care on-call rota. -Participate in the 1 in 12 general paediatric on-call rota.- Support the CAU and inpatient wards during service weeks.- Engage in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement.- Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.- Participate in service development and innovation.
